This policy applies to all GuardLinkX products:
- Califax VPN — Individual, Business, and Enterprise subscriptions
- GuardDrive Pro — Standalone licenses and cloud subscriptions
- Industrial MFT — Professional and Enterprise licenses
- Mobile Security Suite — All subscription plans
How to Request a Refund
- Email services@guardlinkx.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your order number or license key and the email address used at purchase
- We will process your refund within 5-7 business days
- The refund will be issued to your original payment method
Subscription Cancellations
- You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support
- If you cancel within the first 30 days, you receive a full refund
- If you cancel after 30 days, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for the remaining time
- After cancellation, your license key will continue to work until the billing period ends, then it will be deactivated
Annual Plans
- Annual (one-time payment) plans are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase
- After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable
- If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the product, contact support — we will work to resolve it or issue a refund regardless of the 30-day window
Enterprise & Custom Agreements
Enterprise customers with custom licensing agreements should refer to the refund terms in their signed contract. If no specific terms exist, this standard policy applies.
What Happens After a Refund
- Your license key will be deactivated within 24 hours of refund approval
- For Califax VPN: VPN access will be disconnected
- For GuardDrive Pro: Cloud backup access will be revoked; local backups remain on your device
- For Industrial MFT: Transfer workflows will stop; existing audit logs remain available for export
- Any data stored in our cloud services will be retained for 30 days after refund, then permanently deleted
Exceptions
Refunds may be denied in the following cases:
- The request is made more than 30 days after purchase (for non-technical reasons)
- Evidence of fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service
- The product was obtained through a promotional giveaway or free tier
Free Trials
All products offer a free trial period. No payment information is required to start a trial. Trials automatically expire — you will never be charged without explicitly purchasing a plan.
